Ms. Bates provides estate planning services to clients by evaluating the estate of the clients and preparing estate planning documents such as Wills, Living Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, and Designations of Preneed Guardians in accordance with the intentions of the client.  Ms. Bates assists clients with the funding of the Living Trust.   Ms. Bates provides succession planning services to clients that own businesses.

Ms. Bates represents personal representatives and successor trustees in administration of the probate and/or trust estates.  Ms. Bates assists personal representatives and/or successor trustees throughout the entire estate administration process.

Ms. Bates represents business owners in establishing the appropriate entity to form for operation of the business; drafts contracts to memorialize business relationships; and reviews and negotiates the terms of contracts on behalf of the business. Ms. Bates provides succession planning services to business owners.

Ms. Bates drafts contracts to memorialize the terms of a transaction and the relationship between parties.  Ms. Bates negotiates contracts on behalf of clients.

Ms. Bates prepares and reviews commercial and residential leases:  negotiates terms of leases:  drafts and reviews contracts for sale and purchases of real estate and the negotiation of such contracts.

Ms. Bates counsels clients with respect to disputes through an  amicable resolution or litigation if necessary.
